What does a healthy person look like?

What does a healthy person look like? Who is a healthy person? What are the characteristics of a healthy person? Before we look into it, we must understand what is health.

What exactly is health?

I’d say it’s a feeling. I KNOW, that it is a feeling. And I don’t know about how it happens where you are from, but we sometimes feel everything out there, but healthy. Hence, that is the most undervalued and neglected feeling. There is also sometimes unawareness of the fact that health is a feeling in the first place.

Health is not a “State of being” nor it is a once in a lifetime goal neither it is something that you should believe is not for you and some far-fetched notion that you don’t know anything about.

What does a healthy person look like?

That feeling when instead of anger and frustration there is coolness and peace in your gut and mind.

When you are about to let things ruin your day and suddenly when you take one deep breath and calm down everything seems to set alright.

When you walk into a room and people know that you are a fit and healthy person not just by looking at you but by how you walk, talk, and most importantly when they notice your vibe.

A healthy person is a feeling of being 40 but still looking and feeling like 20 on the inside and the outside.

It is when you are suddenly asked to do an extremely physical task at work and instead of stalling it, you’re excited to take it on and ready to face the challenge.

When you’re still full of energy at the end of the day despite working very hard all day, you are a healthy person.

And lastly, when things in your life, work are really not going your way but you still have your calm and posture right then you are a healthy person.

Health is a Feeling and Not A State Of Being

I know I have you nearly believed that health is a feeling that you need to feel. But, here’s an example. When someone is sick, what do you ask them? Is it “What are you at?” OR “How are you feeling?”

We ask them “How are you FEELING.” And that is the exact reason why health is a feeling and not a state of being. And it is usually the only feeling that will stick with you and is in totally your control when you compare it to all the other feelings out there. Which further can be WAYYY easy to handle if you’re feeling healthy.

Now let’s get into the details of life in a person who usually feels healthy.

A story: A glimpse of what feeling healthy really is like on a day-to-day basics

DISCLAIMER: It is advised not to self-diagnose yourself as a healthy person or an unhealthy person as there are more factors than listed below to do that. It is recommended to reach out to a trusted expert if you want a diagnosis.

On days I feel like a healthy person

I switch off my alarm and woke up with a smile feeling refreshed and energized after a good night’s sleep, jumping on my feet I get dressed to absolutely crush my workout.

10:00 AM. After a good 40 minutes workout, 20 minutes of meditation, and reading for another hour. I am feeling great and ready to take on anything that comes my way. I then start reciting my self-affirmations while I shower and get dressed.

Mid-day, 2:30 PM there is a situation at work and things are really not going that great. But somehow that doesn’t affect me as much as it did because I take charge and turn the situation around, with the mental ability that I have built so far.

After dinner, at 8:30 PM, I am fully satisfied with the lovely food I ate at my own pace. Now, I really don’t crave anything sweet because that would really affect my sleep, and also, the dinner was really satisfying.                   END OF STORY”
