CONTRIBUTOR GUIDELINES – HEALTHIEYOO.COM

This guide outlines key points to be considered for preparing an article or a blog post for Healthieyoo and its affiliated social media pages:

ORIGINALITY

Submission to Healthieyoo implies that the work is the author’s original contribution and that it is not published anywhere else. The content and images must be free from plagiarism or copyright infringement. Further, the content must be accurate, human-written, and must not be AI-enabled or Chat GPT generated.

TOPICS

We accept articles or blogs related to health and disease conditions, healthy food and diet, healthy lifestyle, fitness training and motivation, wellness tips, weight loss tips, nutrition, and healthy recipes, health-related news, careers or courses and any other area related to health and wellness. The list is not exhaustive, and we encourage authors to visit the website Healthieyoo.com and suggest content related to the mission of Healthieyoo.

SPECIFICITY

We encourage specific and unique content rather than broad or common content. It is encouraged to further select a sub-specialty and provide well-researched unique content with a balanced view.

WORD COUNT

We prefer a word count between 1000-4000 words. However, shorter, or longer than this limit would be considered at the discretion of the editors of Healthieyoo.

ORGANISATION OF THE ARTICLE

The title should preferably be a catchy headline with 50-60 characters in length. A number in the title tag is preferable. The first paragraph must clearly convey what the article is about and what it covers. We encourage authors to submit a short summary at the beginning and a take-home message, or conclusion at the end of the article/ blog post. It is preferable that the articles are SEO-optimised, however, not a mandatory requirement.

AUTHOR’S BIOGRAPHY AND HEADSHOT

Authors may submit a short biography of not more than 3-5 sentences at the end of the blog post. The bio must reflect the author’s professional qualifications/any degrees acquired or certification (for example, BSc., Pharm D., MS, MBA, etc.) and must include professional affiliations and experience. The headshot of the author must be attached in JPEG/PNG format preferably below 50KB but no more than 100KB in size.

CITING CORRECT SOURCES/ REFERENCES

Healthieyoo believes in scientifically proven and evidenced-based information, so we encourage quoting references in the article/blog only from PubMed or reputed scientific websites and sources such as CDC, NIH, etc. The references may be given as numbers inside the article/blog in brackets and a list at the end of the article. We do not allow citations from predatory articles, websites, and non-authoritative sources. The content should be free from any advertisements or promotions. It must not cite irrelevant references or sources which are not authoritative scientifically.

COMPENSATION

Please note that Healthieyoo does not provide any monetary payment to authors. However, the authors are given full credit on the website and in any promotions on Healthieyoo’s social media and other sites. Our aim is to give your work credibility and bring it to the notice of thousands of readers, subscribers, social media followers, and traffic if generated through organic search. Further, you will be a part of Healthieyoo’s tribe that comprises qualified health and wellness professionals from all over the world.

NUMBER OF ARTICLES

There is no limit to the number of posts an author can submit for consideration. We encourage authors to submit as many contributions as they can. However, editors accept submissions based on a number of factors and mere submission does not guarantee acceptance. Those authors who wish to submit a series of articles (weekly, fortnightly, monthly) on a particular topic are encouraged to write to the editor with a brief proposal on info@healthieyoo.com. If accepted, the authors are required to submit at least 4 articles together.
