MCT wellness claims to increase metabolism while curbing appetite simultaneously, hence less consumption. Polyphenols in MCT wellness bring visible improvement to the skin by giving a radiant glow and reducing the damage caused by UV rays.
According to the company, it also eliminates toxins from the body and increases immunity and digestive health in the process. MCTs are known to be beneficial to gut health and with this review, we will explore more on that.
Mct Wellness Review of Ingredients
As the name suggests, MCT Wellness mainly contains MCT. But it also has polyphenols coming from other sources, along with a few more ingredients. We will break down everything and explore more into it. The following info is based on an MCT Wellness label review.
MCT Wellness contains a 5500 mg MCT prebiotic blend (on acacia gum). This MCT is outsourced from goMCT, which provides MCT Wellness with MCT. Majorly, MCT Wellness claims that they have c8 or caprylic acid, but we will get to that shortly.
Next, we have red currant and black currant fruit extract in 400 mg. This is taken for Mitoheal. These fruit extracts act as polyphenols.
Another main ingredient in MCT Wellness is Red grape extract, which comes from CogniGrape, in a quantity of 250 mg.
Further, MCT wellness also contains Acacia gum which acts as a stabilizer, emulsifier, and thickening agent which is considered to aid in digestive issues. It is a part of the MCT blend, but we don’t know the exact quantity of it. However, acacia gum adds the benefit of supporting gut health and increasing fiber intake.
Please note: the above-mentioned quantity is based on 1 scoop (1 serving). MCT Wellness contains 30 such servings, or 216 g (7.2 g each serving) for a standard container.
Other than these main ingredients, MCT Wellness also has natural flavors, enzymatically modified stevia, malic acid, citric acid, fermented rebaudioside-M, and coconuts. We don’t know the exact quantities of these.

It is free from soy, dairy, lectin, artificial sweetener, and sugar. That means no additional or artificial sugar is added to give it any taste.

In this section, we will review Mct wellness ingredients to explore some research based on the added ingredients.
A study (1) on animals has established that MCT does not affect body weight. Furthermore, levels of blood glucose remain unaltered. However, the same research also established that MCT improved exercise performance and skeletal muscle function in mice. The exact role of MCT on muscle strength and function cannot be concluded.
Research (2) has established that MCT helps in the reduction of cholesterol and reduces the risk of heart related problems (3). However, some studies show MCT has no effects on cholesterol levels.

Red currant is considered effective in diabetes and hypertension. A study (6) suggests that it helps in the early management of type 2 diabetes. Again, these are research studies and any interpretation to Mct Wellness must not be made.
Grapefruits provide various benefits, such as aiding in weight loss, benefiting the skin, hair, etc. The main reason it was included in MCT wellness was its effect on cognitive health. Citrus fruits (7) are considered safe for the brain, as higher dosage is not considered risky.
Also, grapefruit contains a significant amount of flavonoids. It has been found that fruits high in flavonoids (8) help in decreasing cognitive decline by 20%.
Similarly, black currants have an appreciable amount of polyphenols. According to a study (9), they indeed increase nitric acid activation.
The increase in nitric oxide production during ketosis (increased levels of ketones) is associated with increased relaxation of blood vessels and better flow (10). However, more concrete evidence is required.
