Hello guys! Welcome to the Abhalicious blog! This is something that I have been wanting to share for a while, how to start a fitness journey especially if you’re a beginner and absolutely have no clue about fitness? Well, don’t you worry. I’ve got you covered.
Step 1- Don’t believe everything you read/watch on social media
This is the very first step on how to start your fitness journey because, there’s literally a ton of information on social media about weight loss, fitness journey, and everything under the sun related to health and wellness. This is simply because the information may not be for you. And might not suit your goals. If it were really that easy, don’t you think the world would be a much fitter place by now?
Step 2- Acceptance
You’ve got to accept your body and your health as it is. Be vulnerable with yourself about your current state. This doesn’t mean that you’re giving up. NO, NO, and NO. That’s not what’s happening here.
“Acceptance is the first step for change”
Read that again. Once you know what exactly you are and how you are, it’s the first thing towards achieving your goal.
Step 3- Realize that you’ve got to make some changes within yourself and your lifestyle
Now that you know where exactly you are, you’ll start to realize that you NEED to change. Change your lifestyle, your mindset, and a healthy and good body would be the product of that CHANGE. This change is step 3 of how to start your fitness journey!
Step 4 – Ask for help
Talk to an expert in the field. It can be a nutritionist, a personal trainer, or a health coach. Or a friend or a family member in the same field, that’s even better!! This person should be in a position to guide you to realize your goals and guide you through the progress. So, asking for help is step 4 of how to start your fitness journey.

Step 5- Get Ready
Well, get ready for an incredible fitness journey!! A fitness journey that’ll be close to your heart for your whole life!! Here’s how you can get absolutely ready:
Replace the refined carbs and the junk with whole grains, vegetables, and fruits.
Get some exciting workout gear and equipment
Let the people, whom you know would support you, know that you’re doing this.
Realize that it is a long and step-by-step process.
And most importantly, be sure that you’re ready for this change and journey.
